Other comments mentioned that the story wasn't horror (I say semi-horror or dark fantasy, but meh) and that some scenes dragged. But hey, that's feedback for ya!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05073344742586893980noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3707499826148891568.post-30607781086525919142013-06-14T02:06:15.017-07:002013-06-14T02:06:15.017-07:00Thank you! Loved the ending.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3707499826148891568.post-12125628756732520312013-06-11T03:02:22.754-07:002013-06-11T03:02:22.754-07:00Well done.

Personally, I'm a fan of endings where the story can live on in readers' minds, and where they can fill in what they think happens next. Big fan of Plasma Frequency too!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3707499826148891568.post-13405923509374876182013-06-09T02:11:44.182-07:002013-06-09T02:11:44.182-07:00Congrats - I really enjoyed 'By the Stars You ...Congrats - I really enjoyed 'By the Stars You Will Know Her', including the ending!

I agree about the sharp cut-off for horror/dark fiction shorts - it can be very effective. The reader's imagination is more powerful than extra words. Even in non-dark fiction, sometimes extra words can ruin an ending. I think knowing where to leave it is a real art.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
